Dreamlands natives are indigenious peoples that inhabit safe regions of Dreamlands. The most populated and civilized regions are the West and the valley of Ooth-Nargai in the East. Many of Dreamlands civilizations by now have disappeared, such as the Mnar kingdom. There is also a number of non-human sentient races, including men of Leng, beings of Ib, ghouls, zoogs and cats.
The exact origins of human natives are unclear. In Jonathan L. Howard's "Johannes Cabal: The Fear Institute" there's a theory that they are ancestors of ancient dreamers who either could not or simply chose not to return: "Perhaps, millennia ago, immigrants from Ancient Greece or lost Mu came there and settled close together... And so those populations naturally have Grecian or Muite characteristics to this day".
