Oriab is a large island in the Southern Sea. It is lush and fertile. Its most prominent landmark is the tall, snow-capped mountain Ngranek. It is home to the magah birds that nest in its resin trees. Oriab has two cities: Baharna in the north, and Andahad in the south. The rest of the residents live in small hamlets or villages dotting the coast, and are concentrated on the northern end of the island.
